My cat caught a mouse in her mouth and was presumably heading toward my bedroom to show me her still alive-wriggling prize when she rounded the corner in the hallway and surprised by Tory (my Cav) dropped her slippery, slobbery captive. Tory tucked his tail between his legs and came to hide under mine when the mouse ran toward him. So....no....you can't generalize and say "all" Cavaliers will munch on rodents. There are definitely some that are terrified of them (although Tory does like to eat slugs in the garden -- slower and easier to catch, maybe??) Chris
