Debbie, I really hope it all works out for Holly. I really hate to hear about puppy situations that aren't working out. Its so normal for a puppy to growl when somethings being taken away. The problem to me would be if the puppy will not give up the item or if the puppy was actually protective (lunging /nipping) of the toy.
Not to make light of Holly's situation, but Baker just growled and barked at the cable guy a few minutes ago and he LAUGHED!! He told Baker that he could wrestle him down in 2 seconds flat and that he was a cute little guy! guess he's not intimidated m -----Original Message----- From: The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel List [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Debbie Dame Sent: Friday, May 10, 2002 1:15 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [CKCS-L] Training to stop aggression Hi Mary, No, I've not seen the behavior, but we just want to make sure that she doesn't continue going into the wrong direction. It may be play, but regardless I would like to change her reaction to having something taken away from her.
