I am so glad to hear this is not typical Cavalier temperament, because my two Cavaliers (a pet owner), have *always* been sweet and loving and *never* object to the taking away of toys, bones, etc. I think this is the norm with Cavaliers, right? My two would not hurt a flea! They are the sweetest, most loving dogs and always willing to please, and we have had them both since they were young puppies. Kudos to Kim Kaslow and Joy Sims (deceased) for giving us such loving devoted, wonderful, never ever mean or growling, Cavaliers!
