Well, Cathy, this may be true in some areas, but not all!   My vet is
young, relatively new building / equipment/ etc. - and the scanner she
had would NOT scan the European chip - didn't even show there was one
there!   And my friends at Va Tech indicated none of the scanners they
knew of would scan it, either -
