Sure - in Sweden, they can read the chip they implanted in Sweden; in Holland they can read the chip they have implanted -- but those chips cannot be read here in the US. Kennel Clubs in both Sweden and Holland (possibly others) require the puppies be identified (in Holland it is with chips) - period - and this information is on their official paperwork. When these pups are sold to an American and imported here, the chip cannot be read here, so they need to be re-chipped here - They still are required to be chipped in their native countries - regardless of where they end up living eventually - I do not know if chips implanted in Holland can be read in England or Sweden or other European countries or not - I THINK that they can be read in some, not in all -
