I totally agree with the education part. My neighbor, who could afford any dog from any breeder, bought a dog from a local puppy mill. He didn't have a clue in the world, he was just happy not to spend much money and find such a nice lady with so many breeds to choose from. Perhaps we could each approach our local papers with an article about puppy mills, and how to choose the right breeder? Rosanne
