The sad part of this story, Mary, is that if someone goes ahead and buys the puppy (a responsible person, say from this list), that will only encourage the seller to produce more and more pups for sale! :-(
I almost bought a Japanese Chin from a petshop until I realized that. I could only pray that this puppy went to a decent home!
