My vet charges $6 for vaccinations, so she is not making much money off of
them!  I think some vets truly believe annual vaccines are best.  My vet
says she gives her own dogs annual vaccinations.  I have given her many
articles on the subject, and she knows the protocol that I will follow for
my own dogs.  I keep hoping some day they will change their opinion and
recommendations on this.

I also think that vets are afraid people will not bring their pets in for an
annual exam if they don't think they have to get vaccinations.  I think
that's probably true also.  My cats go to a "cats only" clinic, and their
vet does every 3-year vaccines.  I still take them in once a year for exams.
