I have 3 neutered males -- all on what I think is a very good diet (raw and "holistic" kibble), 2 neutered at 6 months, 1 at 9 months. Two have fuzzy coats that require lots of work to keep under control, but my oldest (blenheim, neutered at 6 months) has a very beautiful silky and completely fuzz-free coat. They are all at perfect weights and get lots of exercise.
Do unaltered cavaliers ever develop this kind of coat? Just wondering whether it might occur in a small percentage of the general population. I'm also curious as to whether this is color-related. My two fuzzy boys are wholecolors (ruby, b/t). There are lots of cavaliers around my area, and I've seen it on tri's, but never on a blenheim.
