Hi Cindy a cycle of 4-1/2 months may not be terribly abnormal, but Kiss is the only dog I've ever owned that had this timing for their cycles - thankfully - Yes, Kiss has not had any other indications of anything being 'wrong' with her reproductive organs - until they were removed <grin> She was spayed due to both elbows being Grade III dysplastic + an unstable/ shy temperament, not her cycles, but she was spayed at a bit over 2 yrs old.
