You could let them come and have him handle one of your Cavaliers to see if
he has a reaction. However, if he were my child, I'd forget about pets. I
can't see taking the chance of him being sick enough to be hospitalized. The
very fact that this mother has asked makes me doubt her intelligence. If she
is this foolish with the welfare of her son, how will she be with the
welfare of your puppy?
