As someone who has done the nose pigment thing-I can honestly say nothing works. I too believe it is a genetic thing, gets a lot better in summer months. My dogs have always been on Norwegian Kelp, high quality natural food and raw food. I have read everything I could find about snow nose. I have tried Vit. D, carrots, I can't even remember it all. If it was suggested, I have tried it. Even tried some of my own ideas. If I hear other ideas I will try those too without high expectations.
I have heard two things that I would be interested in responses to. One is the nose can turn black again and stay black. I have also heard that if said dog lived south, say in San Diego, the nose would never turn. I live in WA state. Any comments? What do you know Pat, I know you are in that Southern Cal region!
