Just today, I've had calls here at the shelter from people looking for Dash Hounds and Rodesian Razorbacks. We hear the term "Golden Lab" a lot too and I'm never sure whether people mean a yellow Lab or a Golden Retriever X Lab mix. A couple of years ago, there was a lady that came in several times looking for a "Sweater dog." For the life of me, I couldn't figure out what a "Sweater dog" was. She'd say, "You know, there are two kinds and the Sweaters have a tail." I was still clueless. Finally she showed up with a picture. A "Sweater Dog" turned out to be a Cardigan Welsh Corgi!
