Gerri - it's called the "dumbing down" of America. Came along with Hanna Barberra cartoons (Yogi Bear/Scooby Doo/The Flintstones)...it's the short attention span theater carried to the "nth degree". They don't mean to be stupid but they are. And I'll tell you one big reason why pet shop/puppy mills get so much business: "Breeders" have no compassion/tolerance for innocent ignorance, and puppy millers' sales completely exist on that very thing! They tell 'em what they want to hear! No matter how frustrated we are with the 'generic' pet buyer/inquiry, we must never belittle their inquiry or their intentions.
