Hi Winnie, Ours look horrible because they are on hinged screen doors and one side had the screen and one side did not. The smart things would have been to put the grilles on both sides and it would have been perfect. Our slider has plexiglass on it that has been up for several years and I am getting ready to replace that this year.
I still recommend the pet grilles to anyone who asks. Our dogs are quite mischevious! Currently, we also have an Egnie and American Cocker puppy. The Engie and his mother plow through walls with the little one coming up the rear! We replace a lot of doors!
