with which I am not sure I agree.  This is not the NY Times or WSJ. A
purely volunteer staff who do a remarkable job shouldn't be blamed for
submissions.  This is *not* a legal opinion, but a personal opinon based
on the fact that if you want to hold someone to "higher publishing
standards", you will have to pay them big bucks and hire legal staff to
"clear" articles.

So, perhaps Barb and Jan should be highly paid editors and should have a
staff of ten to help them out? <G>  I'm all for that; they surely
deserve it.

However, this has nothing whatsoever to do with the fiduciary
responsibility of an attorney/Ethics Chair.
