Dear List- I have just (finally!) purchased a doggy door, and before I make a fatal error in installing it, I am asking for your advice. I'd like to know what the best distance from the floor to the bottom of the door would be proper for a family of Cavaliers which includes all ages (from toddlers to oldies)? The door opening measures 10" x 13". My door came without any installation instructions, so any advise that you can offer would be very much appreciated!
