<I'd like to know what the best distance from the floor to the bottom of the door would be proper for a family of Cavaliers which includes all ages (from toddlers to oldies)?>
Denise, The opening on my doggie door is 5" from the bottom of the floor. The Cavalier and Japanese Chin both use it.
