In follow up to Myra's post, I feel that referrals between the "oldtimers"
and so-called "newcomers" could be improved. I sometimes get the impression
that those who have been established in the breed since before AKC
acceptance are somewhat prejudiced against those who have become breeders
after acceptance. As a result, these people tend to tell you they don't know
anyone who has puppies even though there may be many ethical, caring "new"
breeders with puppies out there. I think I would encourage anyone looking
for a Cavalier to get on this list and then make personal contacts with list
members. What do the rest of you think?
