I think that the better wording would have been: wait a year or two to get
a puppy from a BIG breeder rather than a GOOD breeder. We consider
ourselves 'good' breeders. Our dogs are nice, well cared for, do well in
the show ring, have good pedigrees, and are fully health tested. We are
'good' breeders. We are also small, unimportant breeders who are not well
known. We don't even have a waiting list, much less a two year wait for a
puppy. We've only sold three pups to show homes and two of them have won
Best Puppy in Breed, and Best Puppy in Show multiple times, so I know we're
on the right track, but a one or two year wait just doesn't seem feasible.
I don't know about the big, name breeders. Myra
