Hi Lucia, One of the vets in our practice does acupuncture with amazing results. It seems this would be the best for your Chelsea since you would not have to leave her during treatment. I am not familiar with canine chiropractors but any manipulation would give me concern and I would therefore start with the least invasive procedure and if no relief from pain then consider a chiropractor. The vet in our practice uses Chinese herbs in conjunction with acupuncture to achieve the miraculous recoveries I have witnessed.

I took her to my chiropractor last Friday who thought she could possible benefit from manipulation. Another chiropractor in the city does canines. Today my vet gave me the name of another vet here in Lexington that does acupuncture. My question is, which of these two modalities would be the most beneficial and less traumatic on the animal?
