OK, Kris, as I am working on getting my first show cavalier to handle myself,
you are really scaring me. Oh, I don't blame you. I keep hearing all of
these horror stories over the last year and a half being on this list and the
small amount of courage/self-confidence I have mustered up practicing on my
pet cavalier is waning fast. Is there a stereotypical-looking helpful and
positive cavalier handler I can stand closer too - ones that you refer to?
Heck, I'd probably make them look pretty good. <VBG> No really, you did
mention there are a few. I've been paying particular attention to the
lengthy discussions on whether the handler makes the show dog, the show dog
is natural if you have a decent handler and I don't see any thread of
agreement that makes me feel better as a novice. Stick to novice class?
Maybe that's it.
