Debbie I have a little, folding, wheeled 'luggage carrier'. I picked it up at WalMart (I think) for about $20 - when I was working for the Census & having to haul a Heavy brief case of forms & papers a lot <grin> I do believe it would work for a Sherpa bag - the Sherpa has a 'board' of some sort in the bottom (all I've seen have) which keeps the bottom firm - to fit / balance across the 'foot' of this carrier - the dog would be slightly reclined / off balance - but I think it would be ok - and it would help you a lot! When we brought Justine in, there were luggage 'carriers' in the Customs area (and others in other areas of the airport) that looked somewhat like grocery buggies - and I put the Sherpa bag on one of those when I could. The ones in the main airport were not 'free' for anyone to use, you had to pay to use them, but ... they were around -
The carrier I own -> is a metal frame that folds up - the 'foot' folds up against the upright part, the upright part folds in the middle, and there is a bungie that helps hold your luggage in place - and also can wrap around the folded up pieces/part so it stays in a neat package - about the size of a large pocket book or briefcase - My guess is you could use it to carry your Sherpa bag & your pocket book, then put the pocket book & carrier together to be stowed in the overhead, while the Sherpa is under your feet - maybe -- Joan Robinson > > From: Deborah Ayer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: 2002/07/23 Tue AM 08:44:37 CDT > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [CKCS-L] Air Travel > > Hi All, > > Does anyone have a recommendation for a dog carrier on wheels?
