Oh, yes Deborah. that is the other thing. You are right. Same Sherpa bag.......cannot get that under the seat, even in First. It is amazing. I just bought a new Sherpa that will accommodate a "smaller" Cavalier and I love it. Reason is.......the airlines do require the dog to be able to stand up and turn around. In most of the Sherpas this is not possible, although they always sleep anyway.......this is just what the airline requires. Anyway, this Sherpa is as tall as the dog, but more narrow than the others. I haven't used it yet, but I think that it will actually fit under these new, tighter seats if it is put on its side. The dog would then just lay that way, so it should work well. Will let you all know after I've used it.
