Thanks all for your wonderful responses. I wish I could say I was
traveling with a Cavalier, but this time it is a Boston Terrier. I have
bought a Kartu Sherpa bag to carry back this little 11 pound girl (she
is 10 months old). What Sherpa bags do you all use? Also, I never knew
that Sherpa had its own website and don't know if everyone else
knows...but here it is: www.sherpapet.com . They were unbelievable
punctual about getting my bag to me. I don't think it took 3-4 days! It
seemed almost like it was over nighted....come to think of it...it was
sent priority mail. Too cool! I was told by someone...can't remember who
that the middle seat has MORE room under the seat so to go for that one.
They actually assigned me a middle seat for the return flight without
asking. Also, I am flying US Airways...and they are charging $100 to
carry a pet on board. It is a non-stop flight...for that I am
greatful...don't have to lug myself and the dog around strange airports.
Heck, it is bad enough when I go through the security stuff...as I set
off the alarms almost every time. I have had both knees replaced and the
Seattle airport has them set so sensitive that I set it off. Well, HECK,
if the knees didn't the bra usually does.
