Hi, Barb,
I took this quote from the ACKCSC web site. Why is it that no one can
seem to find it? <G> There is a standard, there is a Code of Ethics in
the ACKCSC. In fact, the number 2 paragraph in the COE deals with
health testing very clearly. It is simple, easy to understand not the
least bit obscure.

Additionally, the excellent Breed Guide (which includes proper ring
presentation) shows wonderful attention to detail and beautifully
presents each part of the breed standard in illustrations.

Yes, I understand that you are saying that some can belong to AKC and
not ACKCSC; but that becomes a matter of breeder discretion. Those who
want to maintain the breed standard will adhere to it with or without a
"club" and will ask others who bring bitches to their dogs to adhere to
it as well. In CKCSC, USA there are as many problems with that as
anywhere eles.

I do want to say that I hope that CKCSC continues for many years. The
show venues will be a wonderful place to which to return some day once I
can so afford them!

Best,

Suze
