Wrong, Gerri, the vote was not about being the parent club. There was never a parent club vote in the CKCSC. There was a vote about whether to have AKC recognition which was a different matter entirely as the CKCSC had no control over whether Cavaliers would be recognized by the AKC as the officers knew at the time and the members found out later.
