Hi, Gerri,
When I read this post I had to think long and hard about who were the
"teams" on either side of this issue. Things have changed, think I. I
went back to the archives to search for my own posts about the
membership issues which the ACKCSC was having for a couple of years. I
found a very nice quote written (or maybe endorsed) by Ellen Poti:
> A plea to those
> who are members: offer to help, make your voice heard, work hard to "lose"
> those members who are preventing progress. AMEN.

And, so it was. Now, the ACKCSC is admitting many more members and has
done an admirable job of cleaning house on this issue. It isn't
perfect; nothing is perfect. <G> But I really like the above quote
because to me it clarifies who are the "teams" or "sides" here.
It also gives a good suggestion for how to solve the problems.
Best,
Suze
