Myra - It is pretty much a no-brainer and you presented the scenario - just show the membership the examples you presented (maybe with a little tweak or two): The club registers imports from foreign puppy mills, the club permits members to breed dogs at very young ages with no health testing and register the resulting litters with the Club, but, if a club member breeds a club registered bitch to a beautiful 10 year old male, tested clear of everything that can be tested for, both of whose parents were either Club or foreign registered but who is only AKC registered, not only is the litter unregisterable, but the breeder is suposed to be punished for doing this.... I am not pointing fingers, I am just trying to show the contradictions between the claims and what actually can and can not be done....... Surely most people would grasp the contradicitons in the above scenarios, no matter how little they knew about breeding Hilarie Hilarie Gibbs-Sykes Mel Sykes Hob Nob Cavaliers Sarasota, FL http://www.geocities.com/locustlee ========================================================= "Magic Commands": to stop receiving mail for awhile, click here and send the email: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20NOMAIL to start it up gain click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20MAIL E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] for assistance.
