I would ask the vet to give the puppy 5-6 doses of Flagyl.  It has an
anti-inflammatory effect on the lining of the intestine and will clear up
even the most intractable diahhrea in a few doses.  Then proceed with a mild
diet for a while like chicken and rice. However, the anti-inflammatory
effect seems to be the primary need.  Myra
