That being said I agree with you however, when a dog is dripping in coat with hair hanging between his front legs some eight inches or more they normally do not have short hair on their backs and no hair on their feet with no hair up the hocks however long long hair down to the hocks. And they do not grow short hair on the necks to the breast bone with hair eight inches long from the sternum to the belly. If ears are worn by running along the pavement the ears will be shorter in front and long in the back not trimmed perfectly all the way around in a bell shape. With each and every hair perfect. Nor are they straight across. However, they really looked nice so now are we all going to have to start trimming in this fashion in order to be competitive? A very good grooming job can make the world of difference in the look and give optical illusions that are not the true dog.
