There are Cavaliers that are never trimmed but look trimmed.
Some Cavaliers actually carry little body coat but have lovely long
furnishings. They look trimmed.
Many have little or no *slipper*.

And Cavaliers that look totally untrimmed but are trimmed from the end of
their tails right down to nose tip.

I've had Cavaliers for many, many years and can't always tell and certainly
couldn't prove it one way or the other.

Colored noses are impossible for me to distinguish and I've gone so far as
to purchase a few (maybe all) of the kits..I've used in on my skin and the
dogs skin...the only conclusion I've reached is! it lasts longer on some
skin than on other skin.
