Not True. My black & tan female's parents were a ruby and a black & tan. The
sire was a tri that carried for red. I got all colors with the exception of
blenheim in the litter. I could have gotten a blenheim since both parents
carry for red.


If the black & tan (carries for red)  x blenheim, the results can be all 4
colors.

If the black & tan (dominant for black) x blenheim, the results all black &
tan which carries red. Or, the litter can include a tri and black & tans who
all carry for red.

Jo Ann, correct me if I goofed, but I think I got it.
