OK I should have said only a b/t that carries a red gene and a
particolor gene from it's parents or passed down from its parents will
give you all four colors. Blenheims can only give you blen, rubies can
only give you ruby or blen if it carries the parti gene and tricolors
can only give you tricolors or blen if it carries a red gene. ONLY a b/t
can give you all four colors.

That said you can get all four colors by breeding a ruby to a tricolor
but the ruby has to carry the parti gene and the tricolor has to carry
the red gene.

Thanks
Cathy
