thanks peggy. i knew someone would come through with the real scoop. i cant see many judges going along with this. afterall, many of them were professional handlers and know what it would be like to show some dogs with no bait. would be interesting to see a ring full of dogs just standing around wondering where the food is. guess double handling would be back in style. <G> claudia
