Oxi-Clean is definately not for wool. It said not to use it on wool on the bottle, and I was desperate and ignored it. The beautiful white on my Claire Murray Cavalier hook rug has now blended with brown. I am so upset. The smell isn't gone either. It still hasn't dried completely though. I'm not sure what I'm going to end up having to do. My sister gave me the rug for my birthday, and I don't want to tell her what happened. I may end up buying a new rug to replace this one--*after* the cats get over being upset!
There wasn't really a way to test it. If I couldn't get the stain or the smell out, it was ruined anyway. :o( Carol Richards East Tennessee, USA [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.geocities.com/carolscavaliers/ "My little dog, a heartbeat at my feet."
