Thanks to everyone for their ideas. I've printed them off for hubby tonight (boy, he'll be thrilled!) And I laughed over some of the messages (Heather and her crew who dug under the cement!) That sounds like something my Becca would do - she's the most mischievous black & tan and drives me to distraction at times, but I love her to bits. She'll sit on my lap and put her head on my chest and just sit there looking up at me. So hard to be angry with her then! But when she managed to eat her way through the fence today, I was at my wits end. Digging under is one thing, jumping or climbing over is another, but managing to go through the chain link (OK, maybe she didn't really chew it, but she got the pieces apart somehow!) really provides a challenge on our part. Hmm, maybe I'll get her fat and pregnant and then maybe she'll want to stay where she's supposed to! VBG
I'm not sure what the answer is, but we'll keep trying and eventually something will work. Our yard will be so well enclosed by the time we're done, no one will get in.
