Hi Peggy: Before you get yourself into the invisible fence mode; I thought I would pass on one more suggestion re the fencing. In addition to the patio blocks along the fence line (I think it should also extend under the fence), you could also get 2' x 8' (approx.) panels of plexi-glass and tack it up along the bottom of the fence. This will deter your "fence chewers" and also keep the fence line rigid. I learned of this from our mutual friend Lynda R.
