Elaine,
You did the right thing, and diplomatically too, that counts for a lot!

Subject: [CKCS-L] judging

The topic of altered dogs.I come from poodles .
However I was judging papillon at a show in Canada. They also have or are
supposed to have long hair on the feet.
The best dog by far had trimmed feet and to make it worse was shown by a
child.
I gave the dog the Breed but asked the girl to remain behind.
I told her about the no trimming and not to show me a trimmed dog again.
They don't --they don't show anything to me.
so goes the life of a judge.
Elaine Whitney
