Jackie, while I am waiting for this student to respond, I have a
question... since the Agent doesn't even open to allow me to log in (nor
does the icon display next to the time) does a log file generate at all?
Thanks,
Brian

Can you get more information about the machine? such as
1. the make/model
2. how did the system get into the current status (what has been done to
the system? What software/patches are installed on the system?)
3. does the system have other issues.
4. can you retrieve the agent log and send it to us.
5. explore the system registry and send it to us.
Thanks,

Brian,
We had one user with the same error, same Agent version (4.1.2), same
OS version (Vista Ultimate). We also got an associated "Error
reading setup initialization file" I believe it was 32 bit, but it's
been a few weeks. We ended up just creating a filter for him. We have
about 27 Vista Ultimate users, this was the only one with that problem.

*Subject:* [CLEANACCESS] Odd Error Message
It seems that when the Agent attempts to run this error message pops
up...
Unexpected error; quitting
This occurred immediately after installation, then we attempted to
run the Agent again and this message popped up again. We also
rebooted, attempted to run the Agent again, still got the message.
Tried in safe-mode with networking thinking maybe something was
loading during normal boot that was conflicting with it, and still
nothing. Can anyone shed some light on this error message?
Thanks in advance.
Brian
