To that end...

I recently "stumbled upon" (read: work was tossing out) an "old" Compaq
Proliant dual Ppro 200 server.

Would CLUG be interested in something like this or should I just leave
it there or donate it to CRS or something?

Sounds good. If I came up with a server do you have the means to
host/park it somewhere? Just put together a list of suggested
gear/configurations and I will work on it as soon as the cash flow picks
up.
