wow.
that's all i can say. wow. and thanks =)
ok, we'll come up with some basic specs, though i know it won't be too much
since our needs are extremely minimal.
as for parking it: that won't be a problem. there are several options at my
disposal, and i'm just one person in the group. =)

this would actually probably do quite well as a CLUG web/mail server.
which actually brings up something i've been thinking about for a while: if
CLUG actually had hardware resources it would be very cool to do one or more
of the following:
o host a devel box (CVS, bug tracking, etc) for people engaged in local
linux/free software development. GForge is looking quite cool (I'm going to
be implementing it at a place I contract as a project consultant in January!)
o a shell box that CLUG members can get access to. yes, i know shell boes are
an admin nightmare and can cause lots of problems, but they have and do
exist. it would be a great way, IMHO, to provide a way/place for people to
learn more about Linux without having it on a system locally, as well as to
provide another service to members.
thoughts?
