From what I have read, there seems to be a split on the decision to use antivirus software in Linux, some think that the system is so good that there is no need for it, and others think that safe is better than sorry. Any thoughts?

Hi everyone,

I was just doing a bit of research on virus protection and Linux, does anyone know of a free virus protection program that will work nicely with RH8 ?

I have a laptop that will see plenty of mail and internet usage, and would like it to be safe from virus attacks.
