Jarrod tells us (the rest of the Executive) that originally that statement was brought over from the CLUE Bylaws because they (the former Executive) believed that the clause was stating that CLUG would NOT be responsible for legal fees required to fight any legal battle targeted at an Executive Member or other member of CLUG. After further review it was decided that the clause ACTUALLY stated that CLUG WOULD be responsible for all legal costs of the Executive/Member that was being litigated. As CLUG has barely enough money for a legal retainer right now and besides... CLUG has better things to spend its money on than lawyers <grin> the Executive decided that until legal clarification of this point could be made it would be best to remove it altogether.
