Another gotcha... I don't think you can apply for Alberta Health Care until you have been a resident of Alberta for 6 months. I seem to remember this from years ago, but could be wrong and/or this might have changed.

In order to get plates and insurance for an out of province car you have to have an out of province inspection done.
