In the August issue of Linux Journal, they have a number of articles on the Ultimate Linux Box. For the Do-It-Yourself box, they recommended the Abit AN8 32X 939 motherboard. They also mentioned 2 other boards, the MSI KN8 Diamond Plus and the Asus AN832-Sli Deluxe. The problem with the MSI and Asus boards were that they would not recognise more than 3Gb of memory while using 64 bit Linux, whereas the Abit would recognise up to 8Gb. You may want to check out the article yourself. http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/9061 Martin _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
