Exim (or postfix) as the MTA, mysql (for grey listing), LDAP (for user auth), SASL, and Cyrus (for IMAP/POP). It even works well with the Bynari Outlook plugin (for putting Outlook Calendar and contact info into IMAP folders).
Anyway, even if you go the packaged route, it never hurts to learn how it all works. Greg R.
