I looked at the Korg as well (and the Oxygen was in the running), but
the feel of the Axiom is what sold me.  The drum pads are decent, but
the heavier keys on the Axiom won.  The crazy sliders and buttons are
mappable in Ardour and Zynadsubfx etc.  Of course we don't always have
the luxury of getting the gear we want.  If you can afford it the Axiom
is a great keyboard.

This is why you get good hardware.  You want the low latency, but your
kernel and hardware must support it.

There is some decent info on google, though these days I just follow the
work of the Distro I use.
