I've got a PVR-350, which I use to record SDTV from a cable box.

With Channel 7, and 5 now doing OTA HD in Calgary - I thought I would
buy a card and start using it.. my mythtv box hooks upto my HDTV.

8-VSB is the standard for broadcasting ATSC over the air in Canada and the USA.

The USB item supports 8-VSB, so looks like it will work perfect.
