In the blacklist file there is a line as follows: blacklist usbmouse and I was wondering how come my usb optical mouse still works. I looked at the alsa-base-blacklist file and it looks as follows: # Uncomment these entries in order to blacklist unwanted modem drivers # blacklist snd-atixp-modem # blacklist snd-intel8x0m # blacklist snd-via82xx-modem So It looks like I do not want to touch alsa-base-blacklist file. I would like to see comments and evaluations of my observations before I add blacklist psmouse to the blacklist file. > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) > Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org > > iEYEARECAAYFAkuVkWkACgkQwRXgH3rKGfMmUgCggogFZFBDCu4HcJHy2D2h0nVr > 164AniW7SMeTHl00axklLRspszh8Jdaz > =kTLT > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- > > _______________________________________________ Comments and help appreciated in advance Regards, Michael _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
